Airea is a large kingdom located in the northern part of the continent Balos. It was founded during an undated time by the noble legendary warrior-hero Aierus. Being the only kingdom to be located on the certain continent, it is the usual subject of attacks from wasteland rebels, though however, the kingdom was known for defeating the rebels during "The Great War of The Wastelands" under the rule of the Airean King Morstane III.
